Just to add a bit more info about Frances Carrington (Ball) (Swinfield) who married James Barlow.

Her husband Thomas Sinfield died aged 28 from a cold after trying to extinguish a fire and has an article in the Leicester Chronicle 31st March 1838.  :(  he married Frances Ball on 30th April 1837 at St Mary's P.C. Leicester. There is a copy of marriage on FindMyPast.

James died 13th August 1865, buried 15th August 1865 in same grave A 814 at Welford Road Cem both of 61, Vauxhall Street.

It is most definitely Military Road School in Military Road Northampton.

FindMyPast has school registers which names it as such.

It was a very big school in the town a bit like Clare St and Barry Road schools.

Hi.

There does not seem to be any missing pages for Liverpool on the 1861  yet this information is valuable  for all censuses.  Sandy  http://www.rootschat.com/links/01nmx/
