Essex Lookup Requests / Lookup-please St Leonards Parish Records
« on: Tuesday 16 December 08 17:46 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Merry Christmas to all, :D anyone out there got access to St Leonard's Parish Records?

According to the IGI Hannah Hay was baptized on 5th March 1815 in St Leonard's Church Colchester. I'm hoping to confirm the names of her parents or at least her father.

Be most grateful for any help  ;D

but have you seen the way young girls from 6 and 7 years of age are dressed (in public), it makes me feel sick, they look like miniature adults in totally inappropriate clothing.   Everyone  says that these sick individuals are around and looking for targets and still these little children are made so that they attract the males in our society.
In my opinion as someone who has experience in this area, those children could probably be safer than most. My understanding of a pedophile is they mostly target children that look vulnerable in some way. So, trust me clothing doesn't come into it.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Who owned 55 Elizabeth Street in 1872
« on: Thursday 11 December 08 10:21 GMT (UK)  »
Hi All,

My husbands grandfather was born at 55 Elizabeth Street, St George Hanover Square, Belgrave, Middlesex, in 1872. His name was William John James Wills, parents William George & Caroline Wills.

I'm trying to find out who owned the property, it may have been his grandparents John & Hannah (nee Hay) Wills but need to confirm this.

Any idea on how to go about this would be much appreciated.

Merry Christmas  to All
Carol :)
