I have recently been given this extremely poor quality photo of my g g grandmother with her granddaughter who died aged 10 in 1934. As far as I know it’s the only print in existence and I’m asking a lot but if it could possibly be sharpened up a bit I’d be really grateful… thanks

I have been trying to look for relevant marriages between John Roberts and Mary Jones in north wales and have one from Clocaenog in the relevant time frame .... would Clocaenog fit that scrawl do you think?

I have been looking at this census for many years and still cant fathom out the place of birth for lines 1 and 3 . I can read denbighshire as the county on both but Line 1 has been transcribed as Banwold and line 3 as LLora . I think line 3 is probably Llay with the old spelling of Llai or possibly Lloc but this is in flintshire.

Cynrich or cynrich could also be the phonetical spelling of kenrick potentially as she was illiterate - I will keep looking on the 1841 census to try and find her  :)
