At the risk of sounding like an old fogey, I'm beginning to wish we could go back to the days when all technology wasn't so 'smart'.
Without knowing the TV brand and model and/or where the signal is coming from (e.g. Sky, BT, antenna, freeview box, etc.) I suggest going into the settings menu, then sound, advanced, AV sync (or audio delay or something similar) where you should see a slider bar to adjust the signals.
If you let me know the TV brand and model I can probably drill down more into the menus.
