I believe my Matthew Kyle is probably related. I just need to figure out how. This is definitely a very good lead. Thanks so much Elwyn for the information.  Kindest regards, Glenda

I am researching the Kyle family, in particular Matthew Kyle, my maternal 3rd great grandfather. He died 25 March 1874 at Killycoogan,Portglenone, Antrim. His death certificate stated he was 66 years old, a weaver and his wife's name was Margaret (nee Barkley or Barclay ?). Would anyone have
information or be connected to this family. Kindest regards, Glenda

I would appreciate a lookup of the marriage of John Mcgee & Mary Ann Boyd that took place on 28th March 1839 at Lylehill, Antrim, Ireland. I am interested in knowing the names of the parents, witnesses or any other pertinent information listed.

Thanks,
Glenda

I read the posts on Kyle's from Portglenone/Ahoghill area but no one has mentioned a connection to Matthew or Margaret (Barclay) Kyle or their son Henderson Kyle. I am hoping to find a birth record for Henderson Kyle (born abt. 1840). He may have been born in the Portglenone/Ahoghill area where his family was residing from 1861 according to Griffiths. Does anyone have a connection or information?

Regards,
Glenda

I am researching Matthew and Margaret (nee Barclay) Kyle of Portglenone. The family was residing there in 1872. Matthew Kyle was a Linen Weaver. They had a son Henderson Wasson Kennedy Kyle born about 1840. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Glenda
