Hi Zen Yes i remember the Albert Inn it was in Mount street i think its been turned into flats now , i think The Lamb and flag in Bold street was where the old folks bungalows are now thanks a lot Sophie

Hi all...
I was wondering if someone could perhaps put a date to this photo please..we believe it's the edge family and it was taken in northwood .stoke on trent...we are trying to put names to the bride and groom etc...which will be much easier if we knew the dates....
Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Zen Thank you for your message we saw the Cross Guns it is still going , but the Holly bush as finished and also the Cross Keys , the wheatsheaf stores is still operating , yes there is a lot of steep slopes in Northwood Thanks a lot Sophie

Thank you for your tips on how to find the pubs..very interesting
Unfortunatley the white house in bold street wasnt the" lamb and flag",,it was "the rising sun" which went years ago,,,
we have been up northwood today,and looked up and down the streets,,went to have a look at the mistletoe inn,,,the pub has long gone ,but the bracket still on the wall where the pub sign used to be,,we,ve taken some photos.
