Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / Re: 1841 Aveyard - Yorkshire

Hi Oly,
Thanks for taking the time to do the lookup.
The Mary who is shown with Clufton would be of the correct age but I'm now wondering why she isn't shown with her father James Aveyard ? Any suggestions as to what I should do next ? (Novice alert)  ;)

Yes please if you could look for Mary Aveyard who I think was born in 1838, she should be shown with her father james Aveyard ?

As far as I can tell they are in the Stanley - Wrenthorpe - Wakefield area.

Much appreciasted.

Could someone possibly help me with an 1841 lookup for Mary Aveyard with her father James Aveyard, Mary was born 1838 (as far as I can see), she would have been about 4 years of age.

This link may help with more information.

Hi,
I've just received the marriage certificate through the post and have put a link to the scanned image.

Mary Aveyard (23) of Bragg Lane End married John Barker (21) also of Bragg Lane End. Mary's father was James Aveyard, he was an Engine Worker.

I've been looking back through my notes and spotted this link, there's a Mary Aveyard listed as Infirm in the 1886 paupers list but I don't know if it's of any relevance?

Mary your a star, I'll keep my fingers crossed but I won't expect too much given the circumstances.

Thanks again.

I'm a complete novice in this field, so just to confirm things I should be asking for a lookup for Mary and Joseph Aveyard, keeping Barker out of the equation ?
I'm easily confused.  ;)

That's a great result, so the next step is the 1861 - 1871 census.
Thanks to you both for your help.
