Can anyone help me with a birth/death record for Beata Voullaire This little girl was born Beata Voullaire on 17 Dec 1887 and died on 19 Dec 1887.  I am trying to find her birth and death record, I think she was born in Rossbach, Saxony, Prussia or she could have been born in Gmunden Austria.  I am trying to also locate the birth/baptism for her sister Annie Martha Voullaire, she was born in Gmunden Austria on 3rd July 1889. (I have her death records so I dont need those)

Hahaha they are my grandparents. I have a contact in (*) who has done extensive work on the Webby family tree if you are interested, guess this makes us cousins. My aunty (*) is the last of that generation of Voullaires, she is 95 and still pretty much remembers heaps. She was fascinated with family history as was her father Marc and then I got the bug as well. I have been into the old homestead in Wakefield, Nelson it was awesome.

HI, just trawling thru the web looking for elusive answers for my Drake family and I happened across this. This child was my great aunty and her place of birth is not confirmed either. On the entry you have sighted as registered in New Zealand on the families arrival from Vanuatu via Australia my great grandfather entered her birth place as New Hebrides which could be correct as they lived there for approx 15 months trying to make money from the copra trade which went bellyup for them. Then we have the opposing entry in my great grandmothers diary of births and deaths in that Norma Lydia Theresa was born in Melbourne.......so it is with much frustration I havent confirmed either place. I wrote to Vanuatu records some time ago and they have no such record and I am unable to trace the event in Melbourne either. If you have any ideas that could be useful I would appreciate it to tie up this at my end.
Not often I come across someone researching the name Voullaire. Hope this has settled your mind on your request. I did enjoy reading others surmising of your question.
My great grandparents left Austria for Australia as a brother lived in Australia and enticed them to move from a middle class life to living in Vanuatu, naked tribal people, hot, volcanic and making money out of the sugar trade. Would like to know what went thru my grtgrandmothers mind when she realised where she would be living.......my god I just cant imagine and to give birth there the mond boggles.
