I wonder if anyone can help.I am looking for a death of a William Wykes,or any information on him.He was born 1862 Cransley.I have traced him up till 1911,when he was in an asylum at Northampton County Lunatic Asylum,Berry Wood ,Upton. After that nothing.I have searched Find My Past 1921,cant find that asylum, nor can i find a death for him.I have written to Northampton archives but havent received a reply yet.I would also love to read his asylum notes as well.Thank you

My grandfather was a clicker,an elite job in the shoemaking trade, but he took his family to Wales when the work dried up.He was killed1935 when one of the trams rolled back and killed him.He was 66.He was a master euphonium player and that was buried with him.
