Rootschat is an extremely popular website. Google has each posting indexing in under three meetings so the potential for spam etc if email addresses are posted is large which is why moderators remove them to protect Rootschat members and why Rootschat has a personal messaging system instead.

I think it is the same family. Peter Cameron of Aberdeen married Jean or Janet Donaldson 2-Jun-1789 in Langholm. She was the daughter of Henry Donaldson and Barbara Beattie. Jean/Joan was a relich of John Reid, weaver in Langholm. I am traveling and I can get my genealogy file to open.  I live in San Francisco but was in Langholm 2 weeks ago. I didn't walk up to the old church but I did buy some cemetery books. I stopped my Ancestry subscription for a while since I wasn't using it. I tried to find you on Facebook but there seemed to be too many to choose from. Why don't you try and find me and friend me. I will look again if I kept your name.  Would like to connect more. I am traveling across Canada now and then down the USEast coast to Virginia, back home on the 19th.
