I've just realised that even though this is a bad transcription, the names between the parents could still be alive, so I have deleted them.

Yes.
One of the offspring is a student on the 1980 WA electoral Roll sharing an address with Anna Maeve and some of his siblings.

Put this into a google search to locate him still in Western Australia.

juvenile arthritus "murray"

Sue

Thank you Sue I have located this person previously but wasnt sure until your confirmation

If you search the National Archives
https://www.naa.gov.au/
for Patrick Joseph MURRAY, there is this listing in "General Assisted Passage Scheme, Special Passage Assistance Program and Netherlands Australia Migration Agreements Selection Documents" 01 Jan 1966 - 31 Dec 1967

"MURRAY Patrick Joseph born 8 March 1926;   [deleted]  ; Anna Maeue (nee Bolger) born 24 July 1928 - Irish" Thank you great information on the family

Obviously not a good transcription.

I cannot locate a Ship Record for their immigration to Australia. Thank you

The Murray family (2 adults and 7 children) arrived 22 Oct 1967 at Fremantle on the AURELIA.

You can download their files here:

Thank you wonderful information on the family.

There isn’t anything in that you haven’t already mentioned.
Clashmore, Iona Road
Wife Nellie
Deeply regretted by wife, sons, daughters, mother, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends.
St Columba’s Church to Glasnavin.

Could Ellen have gone to live with one of her children?
The search of newspapers can be hit and miss when the print is often so bad, you can browse but without an idea of a year that’s a huge task, assuming she is with her husband getting a read out of the grave from Glasnevin would be the easiest way to find her.

Thank you Sinann there are endless possibilities I do have the gravestone memorial in glasnevin she is not on it just her husband & his parents.
Not a hope of finding her in the Newspapers so, Glasnevin was the only clue other than Clashmore but if she’s not there and wasn’t living in Clashmore there are way too many Ellen Murray.
I’d follow up that marriage in the UK, if she’s not with her husband it’s a good chance she remarried.
I agree Sinann the marriage seems feasable as maybe some of her children were in Uk & she moved there she was also a trained Nurse as I found her registration in UK

The only “faint possibility “ I found in England was in 1971 between an Ellen Horan & James Henry

SS
Would Ellens marriage be recorded under Murray or Horan? I believe 3 of her older murray children could have been born in UK. I found a birth reg in Ireland for a son in 1954 & as they married in 1943 UK I think the other 3 children may have been born in UK

You asked for Ellen’s death at the end of the previous thread, I spend a good while looking for it in the Newspapers but no joy.
Thank you Sinann appreciate your time in searching. If you have newspaper access I wonder would there be a Notice for her husbands death 17th Oct 1968 Mater Hospital Dublin residence Clashmore Co Waterford that may provide further clues. :)
