Hi Maria,

Thanks for your reply but the family you mentioned were in London not Birmingham.
Since I posted the message I have found out that there were 8 relatives killed on the 2nd Nov 1940 at 4/142 Guildford Street, Lozells,Birmingham. There were 2 more children killed they were Thomas age 10 ( George's Twin ) and David age 7.
If anyone can find any stories about this tragedy I would be very grateful.

I am trying to find out about the deaths of my relatives who all died on 2nd Nov 1940 in Birmingham, Susannah Astle age 62 Grandmother, Leah Astle age 36 Mother, George William age 10 Son, Horace age 9 Son, Raymond age 8 Son & Maureen age 2 Daughter, I wondered if their deaths were anything to do with the 2nd World War but I can't find anything to confirm this.
Hoping someone can help me

                     Thank you for the info on Fred & Emily Turley no wonder I could not find them on the Census,that info has opened the door and I have found loads more family members.

Hi,
    I am trying to find Census records for my Great Grandparents Fred Turley and Emily E Turley (Stubbs), my Grandmother  Elizabeth Emily Turley was born on 27th Oct 1900 in Smethwick Birmingham she died on 17th July 1963 in Mole St,Sparkbrook, Birmingham, I have found a Census record for 1901 which names Fred Turley age 23 Grocer and Emily E Turley 21 living at 27 Ashley Street,Birmingham, It doesn't show my Grandmother who would have been a few months old at the time,I can't find them on the 1911 Census can anyone please help.

Hi,
    I am trying to find a marriage for my Great Grandparents Sarah Davies born abt 1836 in Llanfihangel and James Williams born 1838 in Pencarreg,there 1st child was William born 1861 in Llanegwad, my Grandfather was Thomas born 1864 in Glyncoch, they had 2 more children Simon born 1866 and Essex born 1868.
James was a agricultural labourer and they lived at Glyncoch,Llanegwad.
