No, my info is strictly limited to that from the wedding cert in 1885. john would have been born 1860'ish. Dad, Patrick, would have been dead by 1885. Just noticed a strange thing. Dad's wedding certificate gives his fathers name as Joseph Patrick. All the censuses and his own wedding cert shows John.

I might as well go chasing rainbows, but here goes. My grandfather John Kelly married in England 1885. The wedding cert shows age as 26, occupation Groom. Father Patrick Kelly dec'd Groom Dublin. Am I wasting my time? I have managed to trace John and his family through the various English censuses.
