World War One / Re: John Bartlett Cooper died 1916

Hello Lis, My maternal grandmother was Emily, John Bartlett Cooper's oldest sister. Their parents were George Bartlett Cooper from East Chinnock in Somerset and Emily Mary Ann Carpenter from Middlesex. I thought that I knew all the Cooper lines (all John's siblings lines) as we cousins are all interested in the family. Is our link from Somerset or through the Carpenters? I have only managed a few links through the Carpenters and Horrods of Hampshire so am hoping the connection may be here? As there were eight Cooper siblings from Middlesex (John's generation) and six Cooper siblings from East Chinnock (George Bartlett Cooper's generation) along with nine Carpenter siblings (Emily Mary Ann's generation) I am intrigued. Looking forward to hearing more. Thank you, M.

I am a new member. I joined as I read that another member was asking about John Bartlett Cooper. I was most surprised as this is my Great Uncle Jack who was killed on his nineteenth birthday on the Somme. If the researcher is interested I have more information about his death and this I will gladly share. I have two WW1 photos of him too. Please reply if you are interested.Thanks.
