Hello again, looks as if the message didn't go so will try again. As Ambrose didn't marry until he was well into his forties why don't you send for his marriage cert? this should give you his father and give you a starting point as to who he is. Charles Trowbridge,wife Maria had a brother Ambrose born 1775 in Tollard Royal. As I mentioned earlier there are a number of them in this area. Hope this solves some of your problems. jean
