My grandparents, on my mothers side, both died when I was very young, I was born at Cambois 1948. So my memories of them are about zero. So it was the late 40s or early 50s when they both passed on. The street where they lived was called Bridge Street. My grandfather served in the navy in WW1 and I know he was in the Battle of Jutland. He received a medal for that which one of my sisters girls has.

Yes I'm sure thats the one. Grandfarther died 1972, which if that certificate shows he was 2 years old in 1891 then he must have been 82 when he died. I will have to check this out with others in the family.

My Grandfarther, on my mothers side, lived at Cambois Northumberland. His christian name was Charles.
Any information about the Young family from Cambois would be appeciated

Any information on the Ashford Family from Lowstoft, Suffolk.
My grandfather, on my fathers side, came from there.
Grandfarthers christian name was either Herbert or Hubert, this cannot be 100% sure.
