Hello.....help wanted please. I'm looking for my mother in laws family.

Her name was Catherina Johanna Bergh....born Swart in Bredasdorp in 1924. Father possibly Michiel Christoffel Swart (+-1900 to 1960) and mother possibly Gertruida Anna Johanna Swart....born van Dyk. She died in Bredasdorp in 1926. Any info would be appreciated. Many thanks  :)

Thank you. Had no idea they went to Wales......so he may have died there at that good age. Ill see if I can follow that up. Thank you so much....you've been a great help. I work through the MYHeritage site and they don't seem to have that info on there.

Hi Debra......can you actually see these records online. I live in South Africa so obviously couldnt pop into a building somewhere to view. Mary was definitely Morris. We have William Richards birth certificate. Were they married in Gortroe? They were in Bristol so thats right. Im not sure who came over with William Richard....the only person who may have known that has passed on. Thank you....youve been a tremendous help

Oh that's brilliant....thank you. Johanna might have been Williams mother then?! And who knows who John Morris is!! Id dearly love to find further details on William and Mary though....marriage /death records. Ive been told the best way to do Irish research is to go to the churches in the relevant places. Obviously I cant do that though.  Thank you again.

Hello everyone...thanks very much for all the info.

My mum thinks Susan died in London so I'm safe there.

Isn't family research such a lot of fun...always a hidden skeleton somewhere.
