Best wishes for 2015 to everyone.
I am trying to trace Samuel Eve's father. Samuel was born in Bath in 1727, his father John a stranger. I have found a John Eve from Chipping Ongar (Essex) born about 1690. Does anyone have information about the Eves from Chipping Ongar?

No. Where did you get it? But the register in Bath gives Elijah married to Ann

Yes I can't find a marriage for Elijah and Ann. Parents used to give the same name after a child died but I don't know where to look now

From Bath Record Office. They are great! Elizabeth had three brothers. The father's job is soldier at one point and I have found an Elijah discharged from the army (national archives) in 1802 born in Kilmonton somerset. Could be Kilmonton. I am looking into that.
