Just to conclude, this is the modern day 'North Moor' Postcode: NE61 6DY
I found the actual address, I pumped in 3 other addresses for 36, 36a, 36b Station Road with the Land registry, and the last title plan gave more information, it states the propetry I am looking for is Moor Farm, 38 Station Road, Stannington, NE61 6DU, but, no information could be found to its owners so I couldn't get the title deeds or plans . . . : (
In regard of Moorhouse farm, 19 and 21 Station road, Stannington, The Shaws of 21 Station Road, looking at an ariel view photo, the Quinns would have been at No.19, and the land boundry was split directly through that building seen at the back of the house, so the left half belonged to Quinns at No.19, and the other half to the right No.21 belonged to the Shaws . . .
I have no information prior to 1970 where No.21 was sold to a William Huddleston and Doris Huddleston, then bought by the now owners in 2001, who at some point also bought No.19, if I am correct John Quinn died in 1971, and Mary in 1974, so not sure when the rest of the Quinns would have left and sold up, I will get that title deed for No.19 later . . .
242 Miles from Aberdeen where my Grandparents resided anywhere up to 1950 when their 3rd son was then born in Morpeth area, what prompted them to move, I have no idea, other than I know my Grand Mother's Uncle also resided in Northumberland area, it can have nothing to do with her father, as he was away residing in Edinburgh in this time period, 3rd Uncle birth certificate required, he he he . . .
That's where I am up to now, now I am off to stroke the cats, my little stress relievers . . . : )
