Hi,

Sorry for late reply but thanks forum contributors for help on this.

I think that Mary Ann Hafey is Mary A Beckwith, still can't find birth cert but am in touch with other family tree researcher who are providing some great insight.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm looking for any details on the country of origin of Thomas Gambier, an African possibly from the Nigeria area. Anecdotally, I've read that he was a servant in the household of Lord Gambier.

He was born circa 1783 in 'Foreign parts' I am a descendant of his via his marriage to second wife Ann Gambier nee Bolton. He was buried in Brixton Sep 1, 1843.

Thanks

Rob

Hi,

I'm also searching for country of origin of Thomas Gambier. I'm a descendant of his and have read that a) He originates from The Gambia (Which I've discounted as I've had DNA test which places him in the West Africa, Nigeria area.) b) That he was a servant in the household of Lord Gambier who's surname he adopted which sounds more plausible.

Any info. would be great.

Thanks

Rob

Hi,

I'm trying to find details of birth and parents of Mary Ann Hafey born circa Oct 1886 in Kensington (Can't verify this so might not be accurate) She married Robert William Owen in 1902 in Kensington.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Rob
