Hi James,
Sorry I've taken a few days to reply. For some reason I didn't get a notification about your post, so I hope you get one about mine. We can't exchange emails addresses on here , only by personal message. To be able to use that, you must post on this thread or another a couple more times.

But I can now direct you to an easier way to see the photos of the Kensington Gardens Football Club, as last year I donated them to the South Australian State Library.

If this link doesn't work then just google South Australian State Library Catalogue and you should be able to find them. If not, let me know.

Hi Anne,
I'll send you a private message with an email address. If you send me an email, I'll save it so that I can contact you once I am back home. At present I am evacuated to Canberra because of the Morton Bush Fire in NSW, and I am not expecting to go home for at least another couple of weeks.

I have to thank Mystorian who has very kindly emailed the relevant pages of the book to me. I have to say that they make hilarious reading. I can't thank her enough for sharing.

Oh what a story there is about this family!     ;D   ;D   ;D

Hello Mystorian,

I would love the excerpt about the story of Mary Ann Tuckwell's (previously Clegg, born Lee) marriage to Elijah Brown. I have been working on her story and that of Edward Tuckwell for many years.
Will PM you my email address.

Many thanks,

Dee     :)

Australia / Re: Bill MORLEY's family- SA
« on: Sunday 12 August 18 04:52 BST (UK)  »
I am interested to know the background of 'deeiluka' and about the photo Mrs Dee and me.  We are trying to locate the background of Susan Ann Morley born around 1860 in Burra SA.  Her father was James Morley. Deeiluka bears a striking resemblance to some of our family members and I wondered if she comes from that line?

Hello Birdy22,
I'm sorry that I haven't replied sooner, but I've been in the process of moving house and our internet was only connected on Friday last. I'm gradually trying to catch up in between unpacking boxes!

Morley is not a name on our family tree. My mother's line contains the names Bauer, Ehmcke, Selway, Button, Deimel and Redwood.

Feel free to use the personal message system of RootsChat is you want to chat personally about the similarity.

Hello Catsrule, and welcome to RootsChat.    :)

At the time of the thread I posted about the Lee family I was helping an elderly neighbour, Peter Lee, with his family history. Peter has since passed away. Peter was the grandson of Ann and John /James Lee through their son Peter who married Florence Biglands.

I am not connected with the family in any way other than as a neighbour who was helping out.
