My car has the Cornish flag sticker on the boot and it wasn't until someone asked if I came from Cornwall that I knew it was St Piran's flag.
I don't know if it was a Cornishman or someone who had a good holiday who put it there but the car was registered in West Sussex and appears from the historic paperwork - services etc - never to have been 'residing' there.

It doesn't show on my computer which is at home. I could only access via clicking on the file name which brought it up on Windows photo gallery page.
Must be some way the photo was originally uploaded as I have found some other photo's on RC being the same.

I think it was kind of Robert Glyn Baker's ex wife to send him a cutting, which solved the mystery.
The fact she sent a cutting suggests to me (IMHO) that Mr Baker does not have a computer, otherwise why didn't she just send an e-mail?
As for RC not being mentioned in any of the articles I rather think that's down to the writers of the articles - or maybe the original article that was picked up by the rest. If they aren't a RCer or have read any of these pages then they would not have any reason to mention all the hard work everyone put in.
Who knows maybe one day some budding author will write a book on Ted's lost years and put in it how thousands of strangers from all over the world who go by the name RootsChatters help to find his Master.

The father and two children had been identified but so far I do not think they have found who left the photo and teddy at the airport.

OPC is Online Parish Clerk.
I, too, would also like to thank the OPC's for their wonderful work. having looked at some original images of parish pages I take my hats off to all who transcribe what in some cases can be a nightmare to get words right.
