I am looking for death/burial information on Barclay Beattie and Ann Young (wife) whose children, Ann, Jean, John, Ann were born in Montrose Angus Scotland c 1805 - 1821.  I'm pretty sure Barclay and Ann Beattie were deceased before 1876 as they were born 1776-1781.  I think they had a daughter Ann Beattie who died young c 1805 - 1820.  I would greatly appreciate any help to add to my family tree.

PS Where/What is deceased online?

No I am sorry I don't know for certain they are the same Catherine, but how many Catherine McCallums around the right age would have been at Kenmore at that time?  I'm just guessing.
Thought the information supplied might have sparked a connection if one existed.  Sorry.

Their daughter (my grandma) Helen Beattie Stewart born 1885 Logierait

Catherine McCallum and John McKenzie had a daughter Anne born c1820 Kenmore Perth Scotland.  Anne McKenzie married James Stewart 1845 Kenmore Perth Scotland.
James Stewart was the great grandson of Janet Menzies of Kirktown of Weem Fortingall.  Anne McKenzie Stewart died 1870 Auchloe Fortingall Perth Scotland.

Would love to know more about Catherine McCallum's family to add to family tree

 :-* :-* :-*

I notice with interest the post mentioning the family of Gray in Gartsherrie. My direct ancestor Janet Gray, daughter of William Gray and Catherine Donaldson, was married at Gartsherrie in 1840, to David Ramsay, son of John Ramsay and Ann Hamilton.

Janet Gray Ramsay died at Summerlee, Old Monkland 12 Dec 1877, aged 61. Husband David Ramsay died at Langloan, Middle District, Old Monkland, 21 April 1883, aged 57.

I would love to know where they are buried, or any other information that adds to their story, or points to their origins, or their parents' origins.

Janet and David Ramsay had two children I know of:

Janet Ramsay born 21 March 1851 Gartsherrie, Old Monkland

David Ramsay born 25 May 1857 32 South Road, Summerlee

Thanks again Lodger, that is exactly the right age.

Just a thought - Tom's wife may be listed under "Jean" Moffatt/Stewart

Very glad to know Tom's resting place!

Again, many thanks
