Ihave a marriage of Elizabeth LOCKWOOD to Robert BRAY  13 Sept. 1804 in Frodingham. I believe that Elizabeth was the widow of Robert LOCKWOOD and was Elizabeth SMITH when they married in 1797 in Winteringham. Is anyone able to confirm this? Elizabeth Lockwood Bray is ancestral

Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / Re: 1841/1851 Census Look-Up - CRABTREE in Belton/Crowle

Hi there
George Hunt was b. Mar 1809 in Haldenby Yks. but gives Luddington in 1851 census. He married Frances Crabtree (b. Mar 1813) on 11 June 1832 in Whitgift. Thomas John Hunt was my great grandfather. He married a Henrietta Gibson from the Howden, Yks. area, she was the illegitimate daughter of Elizabeth Gibson who has turned into a mystery as I haven't been able to trace her birth.
Have you Elizabeth Hunt Knipe's death date?

best wishes,

Thank you Janda,
Since posting my request in April I had managed to find out most of the census information myself but thank you very much for taking the time and trouble. People are so very kind. Are you descended from Robert Knipe and Elizabeth Hunt or from Robert and his second wife? If from Robert and Elizabeth then we share some great grandparents.
Have you gone any furthur back with the Hunts?
Best wishes and many thanks,
Barbara

Many thanks Oly,
The Gibsons are my current brick wall. Samuel Gibson appears in Balkholme in 1851 with wife Isabella and  a Samuel Gibson in 1871 in Eastrington with wife  Elizabeth. I can't find him in 1861.  I think he might be my 3xg grandfather.

yours gratefully,  Chota

Can anyone find Samuel Gibson b. abt 1807 in Hemingborough in the 1841 census please? And also Thomas Crabtree b. 1782 in Belton, Lincs. In 1851 he is living in Reedness.

Thank you all for your help. I only stumbled upon this thread by accident and couldn't believe my luck! There is still a way to go before I have these Crabtrees sorted out. Is it pushing my luck to ask if anyone can find Thomas Crabtree in the 1841 cenus. In 1851 he is in Reedness, Yorks with his wife Sarah (?Davey) b. Althorpe and his daughter Sarah b. Reedness. I would be very grateful!

Hi Sasha
my great grandmother was a Frances Crabtree b. in Reedness, Yorkshire. Her father seems to be Thomas Crabtree b. Belton abt  1782.
I have only just started looking for this part of the family and would welcome any help. Do they tie in with with your Crabtrees? I am intrigued by the mention of Ann Sykes as Frances went to stay in Yorkshire with a Sykes family after her husband George Hunt died.

Dear Katherine,

Thank you so much! I can send for her birth certificate now and hopefully find out who her parents were.
