It is looking very much like it on the census both Edward and Jane say they are from East Indies or Jamaica which as caused some search problems especially when the dates tie up with above.

Mainly the years for his Regimental service and any census for the period

He was born in Manby in 1877, His father was John Wass in born in 1854, His Mother was Harriett Wass born in Manby in 1851

We believe he was in both the 1st and 2nd lincolnshire Regiments and served in Sudan, Khatoum, Atabra and the Boer War

I believe he may have re listed for the 1st World war.

He recieved medals for Sudan
aGeorge Medal 1901-1902
A Victory Medal

I am looking for details on Charles Wass 3389 of th Lincolnshire Regiment

Ideally i am looking at where he would be in the years 1881 to 1918 and all of his service record (records)

I appreciate any help that anyone can give me

The Paper was based opposite the Peacock Pub in Spalding in a cottage next to Motor world and owned by Clearpint Printers from Sleaford
I believe it was sold to Live Promotions at a later date The original owner lives opposite Fulney Bridge in Spalding
