Wow, thank you for all this, especially the info on Caleb being a mayor and the photo of him.

Any more info is welcomed greatly.

Would someone with access be able to copy the info from a census in Guelph, Wellington, Canada West of Charles Chase, born in England and being around 63 in 1861 please? He's on at least that and the 1871 census too.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks for that. I thought I'd wrote that on another forum a few years ago. I've not done any ancestry stuff for over a year so thought I'd ask here as I'm looking into going to Germany next year.

Sorry, meant to type "Unfortunately there aren't passenger lists available for people travelling from England to the Continent."
Ok, thanks for the info. Is there any documents that could help me with anything regarding this?

Hi

The people I'm searching are travelling from England to Germany, not to England.

Hi,

I'm looking for the passenger lists from people living in Suffolk in the early 1860s. They moved to Magdeburg Germany before 1865/6. It was a business called Garratt's of Leiston and a lot of their workers moved. Some of the families included a Ralph (surname) and Furrongton/Farrington/Ferrington. Would anybody be able to help in finding any extra info on their journey please?
