This is a photo of either Ellen A A Brown abt 1900 or her daughter Doreen Dyke aby 1928
Ellen died when Doreen was very young and even Doreen doesn't know if it's her or her mum.
I'm not sure if the photo is showing or not as I have chosen the file but I can't see the photo.
Fingers crossed
Thanks

You are correct, it is the Northamptonshire Piddington. Sorry for the slow reply but for some reason all notifications have gone to my old email.
Thanks for looking everyone.
Have you done a DNA test beetles ?

The OHA (Oxford Health Authority) used to turn up at Oxfordshire family history events. The were very helpful and encouraged questions. 1940s may be unavailable still. Try googling them or asking the Oxford family history society.

Just in case anybody else adds to this post please don't think I'm ignoring you if I don't reply.
I'm away most of next week, home for 1 or 2 days and then away for another week.
If anyone post I will reply as soon as I can.
Thanks all.

You wouldn't believe how many times I've searched ancestry for these records.
I would still like to find a marriage record for William Barret and Marriah Pearson. Both their boys have the middle name Pearson, so it fits quite nicely, but you can't beat proof.
Thanks for all your help it has helped a lot.

That's great thank you amondg.
Geanet is where i saw the information, i've been doing this for 20 years and have never come across geanet before.
Some peoples trees leave a lot to be desired, people just like to add names.

So you got your information from Freereg and BT's ?
How did you see them, I've got ancestry and findmypast, I would like to see actual documents whenever possible, don't trust transcriptions.

I was part of the North Bucks team rechecking original transcriptions and although the original transcribers did a fantastic job there were still quite a few errors.

Your help was very much appreciated.

To be honest the answer to both questions is no.
1) I wanted to know if anyone other than the tree owner could find it

2) Familysearch is very unreliable.

I searched for the Piddington parish records in the Northamptonshire archives about 15 years ago and didn't find these records, although I didn't search Horton.
While I was at the archives I was told that transcribers from ancestry had been transcribing Piddington PR's a couple of weeks before I arrived, but these records do not seem to be on ancestry.

Hi
Can anyone please help me?
I've recently seen a family tree which included the birth of Marriah Pearson and also her (Maria) marriage to William Barret around 1810 in Piddington/Horton.

Is this just guess work or are the records available. This has been a brick wall for me for about 20 years.
Thanks people.
