It's me again and I've got the same problem, just a different great great great great grandfather.  Thomas Hagan is said to have come to American as a indentured servant to a John Meeks in 1662, a doctor from London.  They came by the way of Barbados.

Thomas Hagan was born during the year 1645 in County Tyrone, Munster Providence, Ireland.  He died on February 2, 1715/16 in Charles County, Maryland.

Thomas married Mary Ann Mudd on June 9, 1670 in St. Mary's County, MD

Thomas signed his name Hagan and other times Hagoe

Anyone who knows anything on Thomas, like his parents or siblings I would be eternaly grateful.

Thank you so much.

Ireland / Robert Sloan
« on: Sunday 03 May 09 17:41 BST (UK)  »
Help me Please!!!!

I've been searching for 22 years without finding anything - at all!!!!!

My great great great great grandfather, Robert Sloan b. March 12, 1781 (we've always been told in Belfast, Ireland) and d. during the year of 1838 and is buried in Zanesville, Ohio, USA.

He came to America in 1799 through Pennsylvania and married his first wife.  Her name is Martha Antis and they were married September 17, 1801 in Pennsylvania.

They had the following children:  John, Sarah, Rinehart H., Jane, Martha, Mary, Robert, Jr., George, Nancy and Martin.

After Martha died, Robert remarried and continued having children.  His new wife was Ruthy Frisby.

What I'm looking for is any information on Robert Sloan.  I really want to know who his parents were, if he had any siblings, basically anything and everything.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so very much.

I am looking for any help I can get.  My grandfather (several times removed), Hugh Offley b. 1568 and d. 1594 married Anne Harding b. 1530 d. 1588.  They had at least one child:

Thomas b.  June 10, 1564 St. Lawrence Pounting, London, England

Thomas married Anne Cletherow and they had one known child, Catherine, born in the year of 1605 in Elbing, Westpreussen, Preussen (Germany) and died during the year 1639 in England.

Catherine married (Rev.) Philip Edelen during the year 1630, in Middlesex, England

If any of this sounds familiar to anyone, please contact me.

England / looking for family members of Clitherow family
« on: Saturday 29 November 08 01:51 GMT (UK)  »
I'm looking for anyone who is a member of my family or somehow connected to my family.

Henry Clitherow is the farthest back that I have been able to go.  I have that he died July 13, 1545.  I have that he married Sancta Byersworth.  I also have that the couple had only but one child; a son, Henry, born in the year 1540 in England and died on February 20, 1608 in London, Middlesex, England.

If there is anyone out there that is familiar with any of what I have just written, please email me, snail me or call me.  I would deeply appreciate it.

Thank you,

Jennifer Hatfield-Knowles
