Can any one look at   Canada, Seafarers of the Atlantic Provinces, 1789-1935 and see if a Benjamin Carr is named he went missing around 1860 he was a mining engineer and had been to Cape Breton.
Ive been searching for info on him for years.

That info you gave me  sounds wright  because Christopher Urwin's daughter Mary married Thomas Hudson and the only Thomas Hudson I can find is living in a house in Tynemouth with a load of women can't trace his father,

Can anyone find or tell me how to find Christopher's father.

Still looking for info on Benjamin Carr its been a long time since I have done any searching he was a mining
Engineer he moved around a lot he was born in 1823 in Long Benton England , I know he went to Canada Nova Scotia with his wife they had a daughter. On the 1881 census his wife is back in Gateshead England as a widow,
I would like to know about some info I have found about a Benjamin Carr who built a ship called Eliza and Susan in Canada
can anyone expand on this.

Can anyone find the marriage of Andrew Young b1864 & Alice Hudson b1871 d1891 from Birtley, Co Durham, it must have been around 1889, thay had a son Andrew b1890,
Andrew married again after her death to a Sarah Mcquarrie.
