Hi, I have the 51, 61, 71, 81 censuses and he doesn't appear on any of them with the family. In the 1871 it states "Head of House absent on a journey". His occupation is Slater (Master) on his wife's death certificate also states that she is married. I live in West Lothian so I shall go in to Scotland's People next week and see if I can find his death. Could not find him on 1881 discs for Britain. Because the children were born in Huntly there births are not recorded on have census's and certificates to go by.
Thanks.

Looking for info on George Watt born 1818-1821 in Huntly. Parents: Alexander & Margaret Stuart married to Jane Horn. He seems to have vanished after 1851 Census but still living. Wife and 3 sons moved to Glasgow. Any help would be appreciated.
