US Completed Requests / Help with Ship Manifest Arrival Boston 1885.
« on: Thursday 13 May 10 13:48 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
I`m trying to find some info on my great uncle(I think) who arrived in Boston on the 8th September 1885 aboard the Samaria out of Liverpool & Queenstown his name was John Brennan and I believe he was 13.

I`m hoping to find out where he`s from in Ireland so I can confirm that he`s my uncle. There`s an Eliza Dolan travelling on the same ship and I know that his mothers maiden name was Dolan, don`t know if its possible to see if they`re travelling together or not.Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
I also belive his sister Winifred travelled into Boston as well in 1899 ,I believe she was born 1878/79,so any info on here would be great as well.

Canada / Fleming/Derrigan Family in St. Davids Ontario.
« on: Wednesday 14 April 10 11:58 BST (UK)  »
Hi trying to trace the Fleming family in St. Davids Ontario.Steven Fleming(from Tipperary) married Theresa Derrigan (Kildare) in Nov. 1914 in Hull Quebec.

They had at least 2 sons John born 1915 in Hull and Francis born 1919?? where I`m not sure.I can see that in 1920 they were living in St. Davids cos Theresa`s sister Julia Derrigan arrives into Canada to settle and I can see that she continues to live there til her death in 1932.
My last finding for the 2 boys is a border crossing in 1929 with Julia to see her cousin in NY.Any help tracing the boys would be appreciated, thanks.
