Hi everyone.

Was hoping to get some help with a late idea for a Christmas present. I have this photo of a customers family who are about to start their own Christmas celebration by putting a pig on a spit.

Would love if someone can do a cleaned up black and white version and a coloured version.

I was after some help finding the resting place of a Joseph Thornett who passed away in Point McLeay, South Australia in 1877.

I don't for sure that he was buried in Point McLeay Cemetery but was hoping someone might be able to help me with a cemetery register.

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Help needed with Scottish death certificate

Hi

I was hoping someone could help me with a Scottish death certificate. I have circled the two words I need deciphered.

First is where Helen McNaughton died, it was registered in Dundee. I think it is Monifieth but don't know what the second word is.

Also having trouble with the cause of death. I gather it is Chronic something but not quite sure what it is.

Hi everyone!

I found a Great Great Great Grandmother on the Victorian Marine Index cd-rom and downloaded her death certificate off the disk.

She also has a death certificate listed in the Victorian BDM's as well.

Would anyone be able to help me by telling me if the two certificates are the same? I don't want to waste my time and money getting another certificate from the Vic BDM if it is the same as what I already have.

The brother of my Great Grandfather, Arthur Henry LEIGHTON, was convicted and sentenced to 6 months hard labor in 1907. Here is a short story about the sentencing in the Wodonga & Towong Sentinel...
