Looking help in trying to find the grave of Ernest Bunting wife of Mary (nee Stevenson) married Apr-June 1915 Banbridge.Medical Discharge July 1917 Widow Mary awarded war gratuity

World War One / Captain A Hollywood from Co Armagh SS Madam Brooke

Whilst researching Armagh WW1 Causilities I came  across this  in the Armagh Guardian dated 16 Aug1918.                                                                                                                                  Captain Arthur Hollywood of Fathom Co Armagh Master of the* SS Madam Brook of London was according to information received in Newry was washed overboard while coming from France and drowned.
Probate 1918 - HOLLYWOOD Arthur of Field House, Bank Road, Dawley, Shropshire, master mariner, died 5 August 1918 at sea. Administration Shrewsbury 2 November to Agnes Hollywood widow.                                                                                                                              Royal Fleet Auxiliary 15 June 1917 requisitioned for Admiralty service as a collier serving the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Co - name unchanged until 24 July 1917.                                   25 July 1917 re-deployed as a collier until 3 August 1917                                                       *1918 renamed Madame Brooke by her owners                                                                         23 February 1918 re-deployed as an Expeditionary Force Transport on Belgian Government Service carrying stores                                                                                                                       18 January 1919 arrived Blyth from Antwerp                                                                              * error in name in newspaper.                                                                                                 No CWGC menition? is there a reason?                                                                                   Should he not be included in the CWGC as he died on active service during WW1?                     Can any one help?                                                                                                                                        Many thanks                                                                                                                              Joe

Trying to find where Joseph was born in Co Armagh age and next of kin? Nothing in Co Armagh newspapers can some kind person check Lanark/Glasgow newspapers for details ? Many Thanks Joe

Armagh / Pakenham-Walsh FW Capt

Whilst researching military gravestones in St Marks C of I Armagh I have come across a Cross on a base with the names Pakenham-Walsh FW Capt no other details there is no details on church records, date of  death etc. having checked various sites I can find nothing including Ireland Census 1901 & 11, this part of the graveyard has been in use since 1900s.

John Smith (Late Royal Irish Fusiliers)  Died 25 Dec 1926 age 68,                          and son Thomas George Stuart Smith (Late RASC)  Died 27 Jan 1979 aged 74.  buried in  St Mark's Graveyard Armagh.
A difficult one with Smith surname maybe some one can help?

William Winder  born 1899 Co Armagh brother of John born 1891 who served in the Royal Irish Fusiliers,

 both members of St Marks,s  C of I Armagh, both served in WW1

I cannot find details of William  service in WW1 army  Navy  Air Force or Nursing?

Jack Goadby name is on St Marks Church of Ireland Armagh Roll of Honour of serving members in WW1.
 I can find no details on census or service records. He could be Army Navy (Royal or Merchant) or Royal Air Force. Can any one help?

World War Two / Col Tom Henderson from Armagh interned Manila Phillipine Island

Col Tom Henderson from Armagh was arrested as a civilian and interned in St Thomas University Manila by the Japanese. He and 17 other American veteran's were killed by artillery fire from the Japanese before they could get out of the encampment on arrival of the American troops. He is the brother of the Hon RH Henderson of Johannesburg.
The family are from Kildarton Armagh.
 From the Ulster Gazette dated 19 July 1945

I am trying to find out where Col Tom Henderson is buried and where  his death is officially recorded ?

Trying to trace family members Hugh Steven born 1845 in East Belfast Carpenter married Mary born in Hollywood Co Down in 1851,in the 1901 census the family are living at 24 Shaftsbury Avenue Cromac Belfast.
 Family members Sons in 1901 census Hugh age 17  William age 4 John age 13 Henry age 11 and Thomas age 22 Hugh went to New York date not known, John visited Hugh in 1907,but returned to Belfast to work with father in the shipyards after WW1(Royal Irish Rifles during  the war) went to New York married a girl from Co Tyrone and settled there. Looking details on family in Belfast & New York?
