Kent Lookup Requests / Can anyone help !

Hi,
Can anyone help I am looking for my G Grandfather and cannot. His name is James Hawkins born 14/12/1870 died 1948. On his marriage cert it states his father was henry andrew hawkins an Engine driver. I believe he was from Strood kent area.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I wondered if anyone knows what a Personal private valet, Page in Presence did exactly.
I have an ancestor who worked for the King in the 1920's and he moved to the royal household around this time.

Kent Lookup Requests / help please, Henry Andrew Hawkins

Hi,
I wondered if anyone could help me find my Nans grandfather Henry Andrew Hawkins his son was called James Hawkins born dec 1870 and died dec 1948. I cannot find either of them on any census records. I do know that James went to sea at the age of 13 after his father died and also his mother of abroken heart or so she was told. Henry hawkins was an Engine Driver and James a Hall Porter. I am at real standstill with this one and wndered if anyone could help me at all.

Hi,
I am looking for my g grandfather Percy Harold Carlton's birth details I have found him on 1891 & 1901 census living in Ecclesall Bierlow district. I have his marriage cert which says he would have been born around 1879 - 1881. I have also been told by my grandmother that he was married 3 times as his first wife died in 1942.
Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.
