Canada Lookup Request / James Newton Henning

Hello,

Looking for information on Dr J N H born 1930's Cumberland, BC. Wife's name was Diane, sister Jean Gibson "Helen" Henning. J was a pathologist in Barrie, Mississauga & Orillia. I can't seem to find an obituary or an other information besides a voters list for 1974 and an address from 2001. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,

I could use some help in verifying the death of John Robertson.

John Robertson was born 25 Jun 1859 in Old Monkland, Lanark, Scotland. He lived in Cumberland, BC Canada during the late 1800's working as a miner. I was told that he died on 19 Feb 1906 in Maitland, Huerfano, Colorado, USA. I cannot seem to find any documents to back up this fact.

Hello,

I could kindly use some help with information regarding Laverne Leonard b.1917 Ontario. The 1921 census records
show Laverne (spelt Laburne) living with his mother Florence Ross Leonard (nee Hoskin) b.1895 Ontario, and his younger sister
Doris Leonard b.1919 Ontario.
 The head of household were the parents of Florence, William H & Susannah Hoskin. I believe Laverne was a WWII veteran,
and was married three times, one in British Columbia to Dorothy Murdoch (deceased) around 1954 & twice in Ontario. I cannot seem to find
 a marriage record for Laverne's mother Florence. The family are from Perth, Ontario. I did find some voters records for a Laverne Leonard
 living in Timmons, Ontario 1957,a Mrs Laverne Leonard & a James Leonard living in Fort William 1963 & again in 1974 James (firefighter)
& Mrs Laverne Leonard (secretary).
 William H Hoskin died on June 26 1928 in Mitchell,Perth County,Ontario & Susannah Hoskin died on Dec 13 1932 also in Mitchell. It
would be nice to know where & when Laverne passed away and any children would be a bonus.

Hello,

I could really use some assistance tracking down any immigration and travel records for
Yvan "John" Lesenko. He was born in the Ukraine (Russia) 1918 and emigrated to Newfoundland Canada app.1951.
 He is listed on the Canadian voters list living in Longueuil, Québec in 1963 as "Yvan Leasenko" and again in 1965 as   "Yvan Lessenko". Lots of spelling variation happening here.
 I will continue searching.

Hello again,

David T Davis (born Sept 30 1860 Wales) married Mary Ellen Roberts (born 1863 Wales) around 1881 in Wales.
 
 The 1900 US census for Wilkes Barre Ward 9, Luzerne, Pennsylvania indicates that David's year of immigration to the US was 1886. At this point of time David is living with his second wife Margaret E Davis (nee Kelly) and combined children.

  David & Mary Davis emigrated from Wales with there two children: Thomas John Davis (b.May 18 1883) Wales & Henry Davis (b.1885 Wales).

 Mary Davis (nee Roberts) David's first wife I assume died somewhere between 1889-1892 Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. David remarried to Margaret on Feb 23 1889 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania
 
 I am searching for travel & immigration records on ancestry & family search but I cannot seem to grab a break. I also substituted  "Davies" for "Davis" within the search parameters.

All suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I am researching Catherine Mckeane/Mckean/McKane born in Dublin 1862. I've had great difficulties locating her birth record over the past few years,gave up, so I thought I would try again.
 Catherine was born in Dublin 1862 according to the 1911 England census in the town of Whitehaven. She married John Lowrey on July 1st 1880 in Stoke Damerel, Devon, England at the Michael & Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
  Catherine's father was a career military soldier named John Francis Mckeane born 1818 in Ennistymon, County Clare and died in 1895 Whitehaven,Cumberland,England. John's military records indicate that he spent leave in Dublin.
 Catherines father John McKeane married Catherine Baird (b.1843 Ireland) around 1861. The 1861 England census  shows Catherine Baird living in Preston, Lancashire, England as a Linen Spinner age 18.
 That's about all the information I have to offer the group. I hope it is enough to go by and come up with a lead.

I currently researching David Kirkbride born in 1879 Whitehaven, England. He married Agnes Kelly
born in Cumberland England and she died on Oct 11 1905 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.
 Agnes had a sister named Elizabeth Ann Kelly born in 1876 Cleator Moore,Cumberland, England. She died on Jan 24 1909 also in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania. Her death record indicates that her last name was Kirkbride. I believe that David married his sister-in-law Elizabeth sometime after the death of his wife Agnes. I have been searching for the marriage record and it's not going so well.
 Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Canada / James & Jemima Purdy - Belfast to Ontario 1912

Hello,

I would really appreciate some assistance with my search for James & Jemima Purdy.
James Purdy was born 1884 Newtownards,Co.Down,Ireland. He married Jemima Holmes in 1908 Belfast.
 The 1921 Census of Ontario indicates that they arrived in 1912. The same census also indicates that they were living at 193 Palmerston in Ward 5, Toronto West.
  The 1927  Canadian Government Return form shows them returning from Belfast back to Toronto.
James is a tram driver according to the document living in Toronto with his wife Jemima.
 The UK outward passengers list shows James & Jemima leaving the UK aboard the "Montcalm" accompanied by the brother of James, Hugh Purdy his wife Mary & son Eric Desmond Purdy.
 I cannot seem to find a death record for James or Jemima in Ontario. I seem to have difficulties searching for deaths in Ontario. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Canada / Irene Edna Ball family search

Hello,

I would appreciate any assistance with my search for Irene Edna Ball.
She was born on Oct 19 1906 in Wetaskiwin, Saskatchewan to Edward Dahl  & Amanda Erickson.
Irene passed away on Jan 24 1983 in Vancouver. The information from her death certificate indicates, that her parents Edward & Amanda were born in Canada. From the Saskatchewan & Manitoba census records I have searched, i found an Edward & Amanda Dahl born in the united states. Another census records indicates Europe, all without a child named Irene.
 Edna's marriage status on her death record indicates that she was divorced from Harry John Ball. From my research I found there to be three Harry Ball's (no pun intended) to be living in Vancouver. I have managed to rule them all out. Edna's death certificate also indicates that her sister was Delma or Wilma Amelia Elliot as the informant living in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. I do not believe that Edna is still living.
 I did however found a "Harry J Ball" living in Vancouver 1957 with a Mrs. Lee Ball?
