Yorkshire (North Riding) / Stokesley marriage look-up for Jackson Richardson
« on: Saturday 03 August 19 15:55 BST (UK)  »
Good afternoon,
I am hoping that there is some kind person who would do a marriage look-up for me. I have tried to purchase a certificate from the GRO but they are unable to locate the information, Volume 24, page 440. The marriage took place July 1843 between Jackson Richardson, born 1791, and Ann Hart in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. I am particularly interested in the father’s names and that of any witnesses. I have checks on the 'greatayton.wdfiles.com' site but the marriage is not listed. I got my original info from Ancestry and Freebmd. Jackson Richardson b 1791 Great Ayton.
Thanks in anticipation

The Common Room / Birth certificate
« on: Sunday 23 June 19 09:39 BST (UK)  »
Good morning,
My Great Aunt was born illegitimately. There is no father named on her BC obviously but I noticed that under the Mothers name was another name. Could this be a means of identifying the father? Has anyone seen anything similar on BC's before?

Down / Military birth
« on: Sunday 29 July 18 12:24 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
I'm not sure wether I should have posted this on the Military board! My step-sister was born in 1938 in County Down. Her father was in the military at a camp in or near Holywood. So I am trying to find a birth entry for her. She is Shirley Hull born 1938 and mothers name was McGovern. I have put all this information into Ancestry/Findmypast search engines and have not had any returns. Can someone tell me where I should look for the registration. Would it be Ireland, Northern Ireland or England? Grateful for any help.

Hi,
I hope someone in the land of the Maple Leaf can help me. I am trying to find a death for my Great Aunt Georgina Annie Craggs, nee Farr, born about 1890 in Darlington, Durham, UK. She married John William Craggs about 1912 in Windsor, Ontario. She was a hairdresser and sometime Radio announcer. She had two children, Edward born about 1912 and Catherine born about 1914. She divorced John Craggs in????. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Northumberland / Newcastle upon Tyne street names in the 1851 census
« on: Wednesday 04 April 18 13:27 BST (UK)  »
Can anyone help please? I used to have a document on my PC which listed all of the streets  in the different wards of Newcastle for the different census'. Said document has disappeared and I wondered if anyone knows of a same or similar list. I have tried for hours searching online without any luck.
