Leitrim / Larvin [possibly Lavin] from Carrick on Shannon
« on: Monday 05 September 11 13:41 BST (UK) »
Good evening.
I am researching the Larvin family who settled in Birmingham possibly between 1851 and 1861. I have the 1871 Census and it lists:
Edward and Mary Larvin [spelt Lavin on Census] with 3 children, his mother, Bridget, 2 nieces and brother John.
I don't know who suggested Carrick on Shannon in the family but that is all I have. The 3 children are down as being born in Birmingham but I haven't found entries yet. They are Ann, Catherine and John.
TIA
Diane
