Hi once again I'm trying to help a member of my family but once again I ask for your help please.
I'm on Ancestry and I'm trying to confirm the wife of William Dyson b 1827 died 1879 I have a wife name Sarah but uncertain of her surname  possible is Ramsden!!
There children are
Thomas b 1848
Joe b1852
Annie b 1854
George Arthur b1856 married Lily Ellen Corner ..... there children Wnnie,   Eliza Ann ( our relative)   so I know  upwards is 80%correct.

Just need clarification of Williams Sarah maiden name and Williams mother & father if at all possible please.    Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure if my original post was "posted" or if something went wrong  so I will re post.hope this is OK.

Looking for assistance  in finding info on Renatus (Rene)  Van Laere b 1889 d 24-7-1972 Kaprijke, Belgium.   Married Martha Mussche b 1892.  Any help going backwards would be extremely appreciated.   I don't seem to be getting anywhere whatsoever on wwAncestry or a Belgium  site.

Hi to be truthful I'm not sure im in the correct Region but going off free BMD  the person I'm trying to research  the following is the only info I have (I have conflicting info from my friend who I'm trying to help)

Annie Boyer
According to her marriage cert was born 1888
According to 1939 register  her birth is 12/2/1888
According to Free BMD  march 1888  Walsall

Her Marriage is 100% correct   to    Lawrence Cokell b 1891
Married All Saints Pontefract 29-6-1918 
Showing her father as William Boyer, miner.

I cant seem to "clarify "  her details and her  mothers name. 
Am I doing something wrong?   I'm stumped and can't even start a tree !,!

Any help would be greatly appreciated (as in the past 😊)

Hi I was just wondering if once more I could ask for assistance please.  I'm trying to clarify  the parents of William Ward b 1878 8n Dent he married Annie Grotz.
I've had a look on Ancestry and it comes up with John Ward b 1844 who married Barbara Burrows..I then see Jihns father as Richard Parrington  b 1818.   I confess these details are on someone's tree  a person called Ward  so i assumed as surnames were same all details would be ok but i cant understand why 3 generations up Surname goes from Ward to Parrington !!!! I know it's not advisable to copy someone's tree but was just looking .
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you

Hi I was wondering if anyone could please help with my query I am trying to help a friend trace info on his grandfather Percy  decd & family
This is all the info he  has as follows :-
 Florence  Hyde (don't know if this is her maiden name or another married name) b 1872 Grantham  Linconshire.
Sons of Florence :-
Percy Hyde b 1901 Ashton under Lyne.
William John Hill (Hyde) b 1909  Town?
Husband  John Hill b 1871 Henilsford  Staffs,

On the 1911 census it shows the above plus lodgers  it also states they hadc3 children born 3 still living ( now decd) 0 died

We have no knowledge of a 3rd child.

Any info on the above would be greatly appreciated,  thank you so much.

Hi may I please  once more seek the help from Rootschat  in Ireland this time.
Im trying to find  the parents and beyond of Richard Gavin b 1826 , Offaly , Ireland.

Sadly I can find nothing on Ancestry  except from his marriage 1859 to Harriet Wadsworth and there 3 sons William, b1862 , Albert b1864 and Percy b1866.   I would love to go back but finding nothing.

Family History Beginners Board / New Help request please James Rigg b 1881 Newchurch waterfoot Bacup

Hi all please can I ask for help.   My  mother in law died very recently  and a relative of hers has shown a great interest in her ancestors, but I'm having trouble progressing .
What I have is :-

James Rigg b 1914 married Sara Ann Egan b 1917 Bacup.
 Ann Rigg b 1916  & Robert 1919
James Rigg father of above b 1881 Newchurch. Married to Annie  Gavin b 1891.

There are no certificates  to hand .
I just can't seem to get James Rigg b1881/Annie on any census info , I have just been looking on family search but the above is all I can seem to see.
Please can anyone give me that "push" in the right direction I would love to go further back.

Hi can I possibly ask for a little help (once again) please.

8m still helping a friend trace his deceased  mother's past, she sadly did when he was young and the time they had he didn't  ask any questions.  I've done so far OK with my first question search but just need bit more info if possible please
Q1.   Parents of.......   Oliver Mills b 1716 married Anna Ogden  possibly Oldham or Prestwich  area.  They had  2 boys andc3 girls.

Q2.   Doris Mills b1910 deceased marriedThomas Hayton Nutt deceased  where was --- she after 1911 census and upto 1939 Register if this is at all possible please.

May I please ask for some assistance.   I'm not sure I'm getting the right parents for:-

William Nutt b1845 m 1866 d 1910  I think born Leicester married Sarah Clark b 1846  on Ailliams marriage cert it states father is a "Samuel" Nutt but that's as far as I go this is where I'm stuck if anyone can please help.
Below is  1 of Williams children  it seems the Nutts' ended up in Poulton  Morecambe,

James Nutt b 1873  Bingley  then Poulton , Bare, m 1896 d1935 married to Sarah  Alice Hayton b1875 d1951
