Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Date Please

Hi All, is anyone able to give me an estimate on the date that this photo might have been taken (and opinions on how old the lady might be?). This scan was sent to me by my aunt and I don't have access to the back as it has been glued into an album. I just wondered if the style of photo might narrow down the date range at all? Hi All

I suspect that these two photos are of the same person (my great grandfather's younger brother). He was born in 1887 and the photo on the left was taken in c1903 and the one on the right in c1920.

I'd just be interested to know if there is anything that points to it being (or not being) the same person. I am certain of the younger photo (without any doubt) but I don't have any other photos of him as an older man to compare the photo on the right with.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi All

I have recently been given a copy of the attached photo (taken in my 3x Great Grandfather's back garden). It shows a large group of ladies busily sewing!

I am hoping that someone will be able to point me in the right direction with regards to the date of the photo? It isn't going to be easy to identify people but a date will help as it will narrow down the generations for me.

The Common Room / Dickleburgh Norfolk & The Smith Family

Hi All

I am descended from the Smith family of Dickleburgh in Norfolk (they were well known locally and operated the mill there between approx 1780 - 1890). I just wondered if anyone has any early photos of Dickleburgh that they would be willing to share? The Smith's house was opposite the All Saints Church in Dickleburgh and I am hoping it might show up in some photos. William Smith also operated the Kings Head pub in Dickleburgh for a period of time so any photos of the would be most interesting too.
I have done searches on Google images and have seen the photos that come up on there - I just wondered if anyone who has an interest \ link to Dickleburgh might have anything else? I am also keen to make contact with anyone who is descended from the Smith family of Dickleburgh.

Hi All

Is anyone able to say when this photo was taken? I don't think there is too much to go on as her clothing isn't visible - I wondered if her hairstyle might give a clue? I have included a scan of the front and one of the back.

The photo was mounted onto a textured card but the border of card has been cut off at some point. In other words - the photo itself is all there, but the excess card border has been cut off (hope that makes sense!).

Hi All

I wonder if anyone is able to say when this photo was taken? I know there isn't much at all to go on and it might not be possible to say... I just wondered if anything about their outfits gives a clue.

I do have the 'original' to hand but it seems to be a very old photo of an even older one (so not strictly the original I guess!).

I have blown up the two ladies so that you can see a little more of the detail.

Any help will be gratefully received!

I can make out the following :

Miller & merchant employing
9 men xxxxxxx farming 110 acres
& employ 5 farm labourers

It's the 'xxxxxxx' part that I can't seem to work out!
