2/ ALICE JACKSON (1841) married WILLIAM KINCH in 1862.
3/ GEORGE JACKSON (1843) married ANN JENNINGS in 1868.

Gloucestershire Lookup Requests / Newspaper obituaries Berkeley
« on: Wednesday 16 January 08 15:08 GMT (UK)  »
Hi, how do i go about finding out if there was an obituary in a local  newspaper for my g grandad.
His name was Thomas Scotgrove Jackson.
He was born in 1882 (we have no idea where)
He married Mary Anne Morgan in 1913 in Sharpness.
He died January 30th 1960

I am finding any information before his marriage impossible to find as i havn't any info  for him.
I've been told he fought in the Boer war.

I'm hoping a newspaper obit may give me some leads. It's difficult for me as i don't live locally.

If anyone can help i would be very grateful.
Cheers,Carole.
