Hello, I'm researching my family tree and have found a branch of family that originated in Faringdon.
My GGG Grandparents were THOMAS JACKSON (b1811) and HARRIET LODER (b1809)
Roads they and their family lived on were Westbrook,Greater Faringdon / Block Green / Southampton Road / Ball Inn,Market Place / Gravel Walk / London Street / Northfield Farm / 7 CHRISTOPHER SQUARE / 13 CHRISTOPHER SQ / 30 Malthouse / Lechade Road / Union Street.
They had 7 children :
1/ KEZIAH JACKSON (1839) married SAMUEL YATES in 1862.
2/ ALICE JACKSON (1841) married WILLIAM KINCH in 1862.
3/ GEORGE JACKSON (1843) married ANN JENNINGS in 1868.
4/ HENRY JACKSON (1845) married RHODA SMITH in 1888.
5/ THOMAS JACKSON (1849) married JANE HOLMES in 1871.
6/ DAVID JACKSON (1851) married SARAH JENNINGS in 1871.
7/ EDWARD JACKSON (1854) married SUSAN WHITE in 1874.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any old photo's of the streets they lived in would be great.
Cheers, Carole Dillon.
