Hi,
I am trying to find the marriage between -

Hannah Elizabeth Palmer (abt 1874 Little Melton, Norfolk)
George Argent (abt 1865 Tilbury, essex)

I have them on the 1891 census living with her parents in Islington, though they are from Norfolk originally. So I expect the marriage to be recent to then.
I have them again on 1901 census in Hampstead with their children, although she goes by Elizabeth on that not Hannah

She later re marries after George dies, her second marriage is easy to find but not her marriage to George.

I want to send for the marriage certificate as I need to know the name of Georges father, so I have any hope of tracing the Argent line.

On the 1911 cenusus for Thomas Henry Brew (1877)Ramseyand wife Catherine Robina Brew (nee Kaighin 1974) Ramsey, it states they has 8 children but only 4 living, I am trying to find the 4 that have died by 1911 as we didn't know about these children.
The 4 on the census are -
Thomas henry 1899 Ramsey
Margaret Eleanor 1900 ramsey
Mona (Mara) 1903 Barrow, Lancashire
Andrew 1906 Ramsey

On the 1901 census they live with her father with children Thomas Henry and Margaret Eleanor

There marriage is 1898

I have found one birth for a William Edward Brew to these parents in 1906, this was in barrow, lancashire. Mona was also born in Barrow and they later move there. However William Edward ws baptised in Maughold. I can't find a death for him, he must be one of the 4 dead children they refer to though.
other than William Edward I can't find any others!

Post 1911 they move to Barrow permanently and have another child Catherine in 1914.

can anyone help me find the children and their deaths please.

Hi,

I can't find the births for this family, the name is tricky as is it spelt differently on various sources, but even accounting for that I am stumped!
Lots of info on them all from census and marriage and deaths etc. but their births elude me.

parents are John and Mary Golden

Various spellings inc. Golden, Golding, goulding, goolding

James abt1849
Peter abt1850
Mary abt1855
Thomas abt1859
(There is also Bridget 1845 but she was born in Ireland)

Their is a possible match for James and Mary with mothers maiden name given as Micknolty or Mcanalty which I assume are variations McNulty ? The parents are from Ireland so it's possible.

I have the following family on census from 1841, 1851, 1861, 1881

Mary Calvert 1814 bDenholme, Yorkshire
Children all born Denholme -
George Calvert 1835
Warton 1836
William 1847
Sarah Ann 1850
Susannah 1853



She marries James calvert in 1833 she is not widwed till 1881census.

1841 and 1851 she lives with her father John and her children.

My question is where is her husband James on all the cenusus returns?

Also i can't find this family on the 1871.

On recently looking at the 1911 census for my family -

George Alfred Pickles 1863 Denholme, bradford
Hannah Pickles 1864 Denholme, Bradford

I noticed that they say they have had 12 children, 5 of which have died! I have details of the other 7 and have researched this line back but I didn't know about the other children.

They married in 1885 and the first child Hannah Mary was born just prior to the marriage, the next living child is not born till 1891 then they arrive every couple of years.

How do I find the births and deaths of these children?
