Armed Forces / yorkshire regiment

Can anyone tell me where the Yorkshire regiment served in ww1? Im looking for info on Pte John.W.Smith 26173 7th battalion Yorkshire Regiment and i cant find any trace of him apart from the Roll of Honour deaths in 1920.He is listed as casulty type- Commonwealth war dead.

Help needed please! Im trying to find a marriage for John William Smith born Marske by the sea 1896.He died 31/03/1920.His Wife was called Mary Jane and they lived at East End, Sedgefield,Ferryhill,Durham.Im trying to find her maiden name but the marriages listed on Ancestry are very inky.I found a possible in July quarter 1919 but cant make out the brides maiden name.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know where Comsby/Counsby was in the 1800s,Somerset?
I have a few people in my tree who are listed as being born or baptised in this place.I cant find it on a map anywhere and wondered if it changed its name or doesnt exist anymore.

Can anyone help me read this marriage cert please? I know the Bride is Margaret Elizabeth Smith and the Groom is Robert Smith.I cant read fathers profession on either bride or groom.Also the church or district.The couple lived in Wilton Yorkshire.Thanks.

Please could someone do a look up for Eliza Vaughan, (nee Richards)born 1847 in Comsby,Somerset . In 1891 the family were living in Marske, Guisborough. Husband John Vaughan born Huntspill Somerset 1846.I think she may have died between 1891 census and 1901 census.

On the 1871 census i have William Smith living at New Road Guisborough, with wife Sarah,and children.Also living with them is Margaret E Smith listed as Mother age 54 Dressmaker born Lofthouse Guisborough.(states married but no husband mentioned)I need help trying to find her in earlier census returns for husbands name.Then perhaps i can find a marriage entry.It seems like ive been stuck on this forever. Please help before i go mad!!!
