i am trying to look at sarah channer 1750  ivinghoe bucks daughter of mathew channer and mary ware

i trying to work out if either or both of these records belong to her

sarah 1 channer marriage to henry horn  ivinghoe 24 dec 1776
witnesses Eliz channer and William Channer 
and Robert Clarke.



i have found sarah 2 channer marriage to john bates 11 jan 1793  chenies
i think witnesses are george dodd , Deborah Dodd, and E. Dodd.
and the entry says both people getting married have been married before

why is her birth name was channer , why not use married name

her half sister ann  married a  george dodd , he has a sister Deborah Dodd, and elizabeth
th dodd family seem to have a paper mill


have found a will for sarah horn  wid of henry horn died  jan 1822 in elesborough bucks
with 4 children listed born between 1778-1783

i am wondering if this sarah channer is sarah hill married to george channer  brother of sarah
thinking  probably not as they are in london, (and  marry until 1786)
two children who seemed to stay in london
 so could be ok for marriage 1792 i have a record implying george  was still alive in 1793.
could not identify any other close channer widows called sarah   


sarah bates listed as sister in  her sister  elizabeth channer will   1829, along with james channer and george dodd

so i asume she is still alive  but not found any other record


on a tree prepared 1940s given to my gt grandfather,  sarah is married to both husbands.

most of this tree is from  military records and a  family bible
i have with record centre visits and online records agreed with 90%
of there findings, including the missing  link to my part of the family
they had not seen ( or did not acknowledge )  isaac channer and mary fields children as they never married so children not accepted . i found the link in isaac channers will where he listed his children .
but they were not at the time.

just wondering if there are any records i have missed ,  or mis- interepted
i know it is old records  and i have not been able to follow links down from either record

i am trying to find out more a william channer

he married Jarius Barnett  27 jun 1813 in st luke chelsea

the only other record i could find is 1814 when son william was born
living George street              and he is   a   soldier on christening at st luke chelsea
when son william 1814 chelsea -1876 st saviour  was born
i have william 174 with mother jarius in whitechapel 1841 census
i think he married A Mary ann 1817 newington - 1876  camberwell
