Australia / Ott Family from Germany

I am trying to do some research on my husbands family as he has very little information.  He immigrated to Australia from Germany on the ANNA SALEN in December 1954.  His fathers name is Eugene Ott. My husband said his father had several brother and a few immigrated to American and worked in the clothing industry.

I know it might be a stretch but anyone knowing this family and has some information can you please drop me a line.
