Hi,

These photos are the only ones we have of Mum & Dad's wedding in 1952. Please can somebody remove the "Rough proof" which has been written across them.

Thanks in advance.

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Family group to improve please
« on: Wednesday 17 September 08 00:10 BST (UK)  »
This is of my paternal grandparents and their children. As well as improving the photo, is it possible to have one of my grandfather on his own out of it. It's the only photo I have of him as he was killed in WW1.

Here's hoping.

Meant to put this one on my previous thread

Would you say these 2 are sisters? I know who the lady on the left is. Would you say the other one is older or younger, and can you give a rough date please?

Thanks ever so much.

I would be grateful on some dating information on a couple of them

Roughly when would this have been taken please?

Rough date, and is the lady on the left the same person as the photo above. The group is grandmother, grandchild and daughter.

I know this one is 1916, and is the same lady as on the right of the group above.

This one is the same lady again with her younger brother taken in September 1917. I assume she is in black as her first baby died a in March 1917, and her husband never saw the baby as he was in France during WW1  :'(

Hope this is not too much to ask  :)

Thanks in advance.

The Common Room / Are therse 2 people the same person?
« on: Monday 15 September 08 17:12 BST (UK)  »
I'm trying to establish the identity of the lady in the first photo.

Is she the same person as the lady on the left of this group, or could she possibly me her mother?

Your thoughts on this appreciated.

Hi,

Jonathan ROBINSON married Belinda BRADSHAW 26th June 1827 at St Philips, Liverpool. They had the following children
Thomas - christened 1 July 1828 at St Peter, Liverpool
Maria Martha - christened 1 December 1829 at St Peter, Liverpool
Emma Frances - christened 13 April 1831 at St Peter, Liverpool.

Other information I have on Jonathan is as follows

He was a spirit dealer by trade with entries in the Gores Directory of 1825 and 1827, addresses given as 33 Duncan Street, St James and 32 Duncan Street, St James Vaults respectively.

I have also found an entry in the Liverpool Poll Book of 1832 for him as follows
ROBINSON, Jonathan, Spirit Dealer, Duncan Street, Liverpool (T)

I have also found that he left a Supra will which was proved in January 1834 in the Lancaster court.

Therefore I know that he died between the poll of 1832 and before January 1834, but none of the information I have found gives an indication of his age.

I hope that SKS might be able to find a burial for him, and that will give his age at death.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / LMA inquest look up
« on: Saturday 16 August 08 11:24 BST (UK)  »
My great grandfather Daniel Joseph RICHARDS committed suicide on 19th August 1902 under the Great Eastern Railway Bridge over the River Lea in Hackney. The cause of death on the certificate is given as fracture of skull by a revolver shot - suicide. Temporary insanity. Inquest held 21st August 1902.

Please can somebody check if the inquest details still exist, and if it does, what does it say.

Thanks in advance.

« on: Saturday 16 August 08 11:06 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

I'm looking for the family of Daniel and Winifred RICHARDS, probably in St Lukes area as that is where their youngest daughter, Ann Winifred, was born in 1839. Other children are as follows
Elizabeth 1826
Joseph 1830
John 1832
Daniel 1834
George 1835
Jane Mary 1836

I know from the wedding certificate of son John that Daniel Snr was a carpenter my trade.

I hope somebody will be able to find them
