This newpaper report of the funeral of Edith Smith has been sent to me, but I am having difficulty in reading all the names. Any help in enhancing the photograph would be most appreciated. Edith is part of a family we are having great difficulty in sorting out and I am hoping some of the names mentioned may be of help.
Cheers,
Pat

The Common Room / Problems showing family on Genealogy Program
« on: Tuesday 21 July 20 05:47 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,
I would love to know how other people show mixed up families on their programs.
I have one lady who has children with her first husband.  She leaves this man and lives in a de-facto relationship where she has another 7 children. When this man dies she has at least one more child which is registered under the name of the de-facto although it could not be his.  She later marries again under the name of the first husband, so I am assuming he must have died.  Now there are children coming to light who are born under her maiden name..  I use the PAF file program and am at a loss as to how to show all of this.
Cheers,
Pat

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Walter Shaw of Camberley Date Please
« on: Tuesday 14 January 20 00:17 GMT (UK)  »
This photographic was taken by Walter Shaw of Camberley, Surrey.  People have suggested he was operating around 1900 in that place.  Do you agree that the fashions on these two ladies are of that time?  The note on the back of the photograph state it was sent to my grandmother Lillie Payne from Maggie. Unfortunately we are unable to identify Maggie at this time.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Cheers,
Pat

Australia / Tasmanian Death Certificates
« on: Sunday 01 January 17 03:21 GMT (UK)  »
Can someone please tell me what information is contained on a 1979 Tasmanian Death Certificate.  I have searched the Tasmanian Government sites but if the info is there, I'm afraid I couldn't find it.  There is information on what is recorded in much earlier years, but not later years.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Pat.
