Hello, is anyone able to help me? These are my great grand parents, they lived in Abergele and he was a blacksmith living in "Bod Heulog". I want to try and find out a little more more about Elizabeth, BUT all I know is that according to the 1891 census she was born in Fronwynwent, Cardigan and the 1901 and 1911 census both say born in Bronant Cardiganshire, the 1911 also says they have been married for  years  so married around 1885?
The problem is that I don't know her maiden name and of course these are very common names around these parts.  I don't know how to progress.  Does anyone have any advice as to the best course of action? I'm not even sure when she died but it was after her husband and I know she came to the Caernarfon area with her daughter Hannah to live with her daughter Sophia Parry before her died. Thank you, Sue

I am trying to get more information on my great aunt and her husband- She was Sophia Jones (born in Abergele) and she married Jack Parry (Oct 1914). They ran JR Parry coal merchants in Castle Square Caernarfon.   I can't trace him at all but although he was known as Uncle Jack, that may not have been his name- he could have been John or James.  I can't find any birth record or burial record I just wondered if anyone knew of any business records that can be checked to find out what the J R  stood for?  He died roughly in 1930 and was living in Caernarfon at the time.  Aunty Soph continued to run the business after he died, and later on her nephew Gwilym worked there.  Any ideas ? Regards, Sue
