« on: Friday 17 July 20 15:20 BST (UK)  »
My dad left the army after WW1 due to wounds and malaria....Sometime later he went back to Ireland on the death of his Dad,,,Stayed and joined the new Irish Free state forces...
I got his Army Record papers from Ireland on his service there.... But was very surprised that on enlistment his last address was RED HOUSE KESWICK, CUMBERLAND....i'm presuming he was working there.  Does anybody know it's location as i can't find it.

Many thanks.

Her husbands name was a John Mallison [Mallinson].
They had 6 children. there was a reference to [Pauper]?
The children's births run from 1788 to 1805.....after that. she couldn't find nothing.
basically, i think it's the marriage she's really trying to find etc.

I tried on the Cumberland page with no luck.
Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.

Looking for the death of Bridget Weldridge......lived in Coolock. She's in the 1911 census with her 2 sons Patrick and Terence....My mam had been taken away into an orphanage of some kind..
I believe she stayed in Coolock.  Any help greatly appreciated.
Her husband was Nicholas Weldridge who died in 1902.

My mam was Jane Anne, she'd be two when her dad died..They lived then in Baldoyle..

Limerick / date of death/ certificate
« on: Friday 19 June 20 12:31 BST (UK)  »
I'm 82 now...but have always wondered when a young girl on my dads side died and the date.
She was Bridget McEnery of Bishop Street Newcastle West County Limerick. her father Was John McEnery. She's alive in the 1911 census [age 10yo] of Ireland. dad ran off to Dublin to join the army at 16 years of age. He was born in 1899.....So Bridget died between 1911 and 1916?...but i've never traced it.
Can any one help me.

Thank you for any effort.. Tony Mc.

Dublin / Kinsealey graveyard
« on: Monday 25 October 10 21:32 BST (UK)  »
I recently visited Kinsealey cemetery, coolock, Co: Dublin to try and view the grave of my Grandmother, but alas there was no marker or anything to identify the spot. I went with my long lost cousin whom we had met after a long search. He thought he remembered roughly the area, but that was that. I placed flower's and said a prayer. The family had split whem my mam was put in a convent approx 1902 when her dad died. The nun's later told the family she had died. She of course hadn't, hence the 100 year family seperation, but i'd dearly love to know when my Granmother had died. I believe the cemetery closed in 1954?, or if my Grand father is buried with her. Myself and sister's are getting on now and just can't do the trip no more.
I know she is listed in the 1911 census with her two sons, but their dead as well now. I've tried putting the name in search pages but still can't find the difinitive answers. Her name was Brigid/Bridget Weldridge nee 'Brien and her husband was Nicholas. She apparently had been from time to time incarcerated in both Kilmainham and Wicklow Jails 'for activities against the state' but enquiries to old army/police records state 'sealed or not viewable'.
But a simple query is how can i find their death dates etc:
Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated before the sands of time run their course.

Many thanks. Tony Mc: in Liverpool
