Hi Can someone help me with the following please.

Looking for the birth year or date for the following:

William Edward Coleman  born abt 1847 Parents Edward Coleman  and Hannah (Payne) Not sure on mothers surname.
Edward Coleman born abt 1820 not sure  on the name of parents.

Also marriage for Edward Coleman  married to a Hannah (Payne) July 1844.

Also any other children they may have had.

They moved to Australia about 1854.

Also loking for a marriageof a Samuel Payne to Hannah (Payne) about 1828.
Children : Charles Payne abt 1839: Hannah Payne abt 1840.

Hi, I am looking for a passanger list for a ship ( name unknown) that arrived in New Zealand late 1902 from Tasmania or Victoria.

The names on it that I am look for are:
Joseph Henry Smith
Miriam Smith
Children
Arthur Smith
Nellie Smith
Stella Jane Smith

The children may also have the name PURCELL as a middle name  as well.

The ship would have arrived in Auckland late 1902.

I have posted this as the Tasmanian Library have said it would be easier for some one who is able to help me out to look for me.

Hi, I am after any info in regards to a Patrick Purcell who married a Cecilia Woods. Year unknown in Australia I think.

Their two children were:
Margaret Purcell born 1860 Melbourne
Patrick Joseph Purcell born 1865 Melbourne.

Margaret Purcell died in New Zealand in 1927 so that is not a problem.

In regards to Patrick Joseph Purcell he married my great grandmother Miriam Coleman in NSW in 1891.

Margaret's great grandson says that her mother Cecilia died in melbourne in 1865 but can find no trace of the death.  He also says that her maiden name was Anderson.  He side that her and Patrick married in Melbourne but I can find no trace of that either.


Also I can find no trace of a divorce record for Patrick Purcell and Miriam Coleman  either. 

As someone pointed out on one of my other message boards Joseph Hebry Smith borne 1862 died 1863. As a family we are confused

Did Patrick Joseph Purcell take on the name of Joseph Henry Smith for some reason and then come over to New Zealand.

I have no idea.

This may remain a mystery to us all.

Any help would be graetful.

Hi I am wondeing how do you go about find a death of a person in my family after 1985 in Victoria.

This is a newspaper clipping I have.

His name is Courteney Alexander Vincent Buckby or Remonus. He was reg under both names in 1910 Queensland.

I have contacted the Nursing Home he was at but is not there now.

He was alive in 1989 when his mother turned 100 years old but not sure if he was when she died in 1994. I am waiting to see if I get a reply from the Brighton Cemetery as he may be buried there.

Any help would be greatful
