Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / 1841,1851, 1861 Lookups - Davies

Hi,

Could someone look up William Davies for me on the above census records please?

I think he was born in Dowlais in 1841. His dad was called David Davies who was a coal miner.

Given that those are such common names and such a common occupation I am not holding my breath, but will be so grateful for the help.

Hi,
Could someone look up John Jones on the 1841, 51 and 61 census for me please?
I know looking for a Jones is hard going, especially a John Jones so my eternal gratitude to anyone who can help.

From his marriage cert, which took place 4th July 1864,in Merthyr Tydfil, i have the following information :-

John Jones 25
Bachelor
Iron Miner
Troedyrhiw (residence at time of marriage)
Nathaniel Jones (deceased [father's name])
Farmer (father's occupation)

From following census records (1871,81,91)- John Jones was born in Carmarthenshire.

Merionethshire / Dolgelly - Monmouth??

Hi all,

I received a death cert yesterday wich read -

REGISTRATION DISTRICT - DOLGELLY

Death in the sub-district of Barmouth in the county of Monmouth.

Now, my geography is poor but surely Monmouth and Merioneth are opposite ends of Wales?
Is this just a mistake on the certificate and is it likely to be a mistake made on the original cert or just on the copy that was made when i ordered?

Merionethshire Lookup Requests / Cadwalader jones 1861/71

Could someone look Cadwalader Jones up for me in 1861 and 71 please?

He was born Dolgelly in 1852.
I don't have parents names i'm afraid to make the search easier.
Only other things i know of him is that by 1877 ish he was married and living at Parc Farm.
And by the end of 1877 he'd been executed for murder.

Much gratitude if anyone can help.

Father - William Jones occ Labourer

(From the 1851 census William Jones was born abt 1793 in Mallwyd and was married to Ellen Jones born 1785)

Could someone look up Evan Jones in 1841 for me please?

Info i have about him comes from his marriage cert 29/3/1851

29 years old (so born abt 1822)
Widower
Quarryman
Living at Ty yn Capel Aberllyfeni Talyllyn before marriage
Father's name Evan Jones occ Labourer

I know the 1841 doesn't give relationship to head but i'm hoping that if Evan Jnr is living at home then he might be findable.

Could someone also look the family up in 1871 for me please? Catherine John had died before 1861 so it would likely just be John John and Priscilla,

Hi, could someone look for Martha Jane Owen please?

According to her marriage certificate she was 18 when she married on May 24th 1884.
Her residence before marriage was Llandiloes,
Her father's name was William Owen, occ Soldier
The marriage took place in Montgomeryshire.

On the 1901 census her place of birth is given as Manchester (but i haven't seen the image so don't know how accurate that transcription is).

Could someone possibly look them up in 1861 please? I think it'll just be Thomas Snr and Mary as i believe Thomas Jnr was born after the census.
